Profile:
Encouraged by his mother, Johan Yusof was 15 years old when he took his first step towards becoming a stage performer. For the first 13 years of his performing career, Johan was very active in musical theater, performing in musical productions such as DanSing Thru Broadway, Sparks of Broadway, Mamak Mee-Ah! The Musical Spoof, The Ruler and Broadway Bites. In addition to singing, Johan learned how to act and dance in order to become a well-rounded performer in musical theater and that has landed him roles in TV Christmas and Chinese New Year specials, along with being a backup dancer for Datuk DJ Dave's final concert in Istana Budaya. In 2013, Johan retired from musical theater and ventured into the Malaysian anime, comic and gaming (ACG) scene. There, he performed a lot of his favorite j-pop and anisong hits and within a few years, became one of the most popular and sought-after singers within the ACG community. He has performed in big events, such as Comic Fiesta and AniManGaki over the last two to three years and has also taken his talent down to Singapore where he emerged as the winner of Cosfest XIV's Sound of Stars JoySound Karaoke Competition in 2015. Despite 16 years under his belt as a stage performer, Johan continues to learn and grow more towards becoming a stronger performer and hopes to pave the way for future singers within the Malaysian ACG scene to live out their dreams as well.

マレーシア出身。母親の勧めでステージパフォーマーになるための第一歩を踏み出したのは、彼が15歳の時だった。DanSing Thru BroadwayやSparks of Broadway、Mamak Mee-ah! The Musical Spoof、The Ruler、Broadway Bitesなどのミュージカルプロダクションでパフォーマンスを行い、その後13年間にわたりミュージカル劇場で活動をする。彼は歌うことだけでなく、多彩なパフォーマーになるために演技やダンスの勉強をした。また、マレーシアのクリスマス番組や春節のスペシャル番組などでも活躍し、マレーシアの有名歌手Datuk DJ DAVEのラストコンサートでバックダンサーを務めた。2013年に彼はミュージカル界を引退し、マレーシアのアニメ・漫画・ゲームシーン(ACGシーン)へ挑戦することを決意。そこで彼はたくさんのお気に入りのJ-popや人気のアニソンを披露した。やがて彼はACGのコミュニティのなかで最も有名で引っ張りだこのシンガーの1人となり、Comic FiestaやAniManGakiなどの大きなイベントでパフォーマンスをした。2015年、シンガポールで開催された「第14回Sound of Stars JoySound Karaoke Competition」で優勝した際には、彼という才能をシンガポールに轟かせた。彼は舞台芸術家として16年もの間働いてきたが、よりパワフルで魅力的なパフォーマーになるために貪欲に学び、成長し続けている。彼の願いは、マレーシアのACGシーンのシンガー達の夢の実現のための道を切り開き、また導くことなのである。
